Project Overview

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), in partnership with the City of Wauwatosa, is studying improvements to Wisconsin Highway 181 (WIS 181) — also known as Glenview Avenue & Wauwatosa Avenue — between Wisconsin Avenue and Center Street. The goal is to extend the life of the roadway, update outdated infrastructure, and create a safer, more comfortable corridor for drivers, transit riders, pedestrians, and bicyclists.
