What is the project?

The applicant is requesting approval of a Major Amendment to a Planned Unit Development (PUD) to develop a freestanding, 3,293 square foot bank with drive-through at the southeast corner of Burleigh Street and N. 112th Street. This would be a Chase Bank.

The proposed bank and drive through will be located at the northwest corner of the site which currently serves as a parking area for the Meijer retail store. The project will result in a loss of 41 parking spaces. However, the center still contains the required number of parking spaces per City Code. Access to the site will be provided from two (2) shared driveways on 112th Street and a right turn in and right turn out driveway on Burleigh Street.

Pending city approvals, the developer wants to build the Chase Bank in Spring 2024 and open in Fall 2024.
