Parking and Biking Options

Parking spaces are available in Hart Park near the Muellner Building. Additional free public parking is available in the Harts Mills Lot (7735 Harwood Ave), the Little Red Store Lot (7720 Harwood Ave), and along Hart Park Lane (7200 Hart Park Ln). We recommend carpooling, walking, or biking to the event. A limited number of bike racks are available in Hart Park.

Event #2: Community Celebration of Firefly Grove Park Opening

4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

From 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, join us to celebrate the grand opening of Firefly Grove Park. All are invited to enjoy the park's amenities, view the giant troll sculpture, place an order from participating food trucks, and more. This open-house-style event is open to the entire Wauwatosa community.

Please enter the park from the north entrance off Gilbert Avenue and 116th Street. Throughout the event, food trucks will be available along Gilbert Avenue.

Free, on-street parking will be available. Firefly Grove Park does not have a parking lot. We recommend carpooling, walking, or biking to the event. A limited number of bike racks are available in Firefly Grove Park. If you choose to drive and park your car, you may need to enjoy a few minute walk to Firefly Grove Park's main entrance, along Gilbert Avenue and 116th Street.
